A layover in the airport of Dubai and needed to wait 12 hours before my next flight would take off. A great opportunity slip to take a quick look at all that makes Dubai famous.
Since I like architecture it was interesting for me to go and see the Burj al Arab, the Burj Khalifa and the palm shaped Islands so called the Palm Islands. They did not disappoint. Every single place I visited was spectacular, big and beautiful in some way.... Even shopping centers were impressive and overwhelming.
Dubai was intense for me. It hit me how divided the world can be and how different places develop. I do not judge Dubai. And I, of course can not form a fair opinion, since I only was there for 10 hours. However, because of the intensity I decided to call the next photos.
